I really like this piece, it has a great sense of depth and a fantastic futuristic feel to it. While the textures may seem simple, they really work well with the piece and expert lighting / shading. The shapes are fairly simple and geometric, but with alot of detail and a high polycount on the tubes etc
Modelling, simple but effective use of polygons, quite high polycount.
Shading IN PHOTOSHOP, using photoshop i could create a similar feel to this piece post production, but not well in houdini.
